About 5 months ago, I purchased Spectrasonics Omnisphere and installed it to my PC. Everything worked no problem, and I just installed all the updates and everything right away up to 1.14C. A step by step video on how to update Omnisphere 2 to 2.5. I walk you thru the process on my Windows OS. The install instructions are in the zip file if you. Upon opening omnisphere I get the message “Data properties file not found for Omnisphere. A possible explanation is that the installation was not completed properly (Omnisphere patch data needs to be upgraded to version 2; review installation procedure and install the version 2 data).”. I'm a new user of Omnisphere, Trillian & RMX. I am having two problems with Omnisphere. Some patches will not load ( mostly Keyboard based patches ) I get the message Cannot load soundsource from directory ' Core Library' File Denoise.zmap may be missing or corrupted. Try refreshing soundsource browser. I have installed Omnisphere three times, but the same thing keeps happening. After the install, I launch Logic and open an instance of Omnisphere. The very first patch I select shows the progress percentage reach 100%, then I get a popup error: Cannot load SoundSource 'blah, blah' from Directory Core Library. Can not load soundsource '.' In directory 'Core Library'. Try refreshing the index browser. Now, I have tried everything. After one reinstall, I got an issue that involved a.zmap, and I have no idea what that is or what happened to that. I have seen people on the net with that problem though, which is similar to mine.
These are the best choirs out there these days. If your budget isnt big and you just need something that sounds really epic go for Storm Choir I (stil very nice)
If you want the maximum take Arva (Children) + Freyja (Woman) + Wotan (Men)
Mystica also is very nice, but it is best for medieval music because it is (as far as i know) the only choir library where you can have them sing without vibrato which was common in that era. There also is a male counterpart to mystica, called Cantus which is a gregorian chant choir. Great sound, but the transitions are not that cool out of the box.

Also is it safer to buy boxed copy if my internet is unstable and (given if I bought EW SC) will the download be limited to a certain days?
Last but not least, just to be safe. Is there any other better vocal libraries out there? (I heard of Strezov and Eduardo Tarilonte's product, unfortunately they have quite limited use in genre)

Hello all,I have installed Omnisphere three times, but the same thing keeps happening. After the install, I launch Logic and open an instance of Omnisphere. The very first patch I select shows the progress percentage reach 100%, then I get a popup error:

Cannot load SoundSource 'blah, blah' from Directory Core Library. File 'xxxx.zmap' may be missing or corrupted. Try refreshing the SoundSource Browser.Questions:
1. Anyone else have this problem and solve it?
2. How do I refresh the SoundSource Browser?
Notes:
1. Before each resintall I did a search and deleted everything Omnisphere.
2. I am installing on an external drive - not enough space on the boot drive.
3. I am using a Dual G5, OS 10.4.11
4. This doesn't happen with every patch I select, but a bunch of them.

5. I did a search for each 'zmap' file, and there was none on my drive. I would think I should see it?
Anyone have an idea what could be the problem?
