How to use the free eyebrow stencils:
Option 1:
1. Select the eyebrow style of your choice
2. Using scissors, or an exact o knife cut out the eyebrow
3. place the (eyebrow) piece of paper you just cut onto your face on top of your existing eyebrow
4. Use some eyelash adhesive to temporarily affix the paper eyebrow onto your existing eyebrow
5. Angle the eyebrow to your liking
6. Trace around this eyebrow with white eyeliner
7. Tweeze or wax the hairs outside of the eyebrow traces you just made
8. Fill in the bare spots with a brow pencil
9. Enjoy your new eyebrow shape!
Option 2:
1. Select the eyebrow style of your choice
2. Using scissors, or an exact o knife cut out the eyebrow
3. Throw away the tiny piece of paper you cut out
4. Place the surrounding stencil of paper on top of your existing eyebrow
5. Trace the inside of the stencil with your eyebrow pencil or powder
6. Remove the paper
7. Tweeze or wax the stray hairs that are not in your new eyebrow shape

Achieving the perfect eyebrows seems impossible to do. A makeup pro told me that eyebrows are sisters, not twins —which means that they look very similar but not entirely identical.
This piece of advice has really helped me learn how to shape eyebrows at home and groom my brows and that’s why I’m sharing that with you today as well. And since I’m feeling more generous today (I’m kidding!), I’m also going to share a step-by-step guide on how to shape eyebrows to perfection!
What You’ll Need:
- Eyebrow pencil
- Eyebrow Gel
- Slanted tweezers
- Spoolie
- Eyebrow brush
- Lash Comb
- Eyebrow scissors (curved)
Step 1: Apply Eyebrow Gel

The first step is to apply eyebrow gel on the eyebrow to flatten the hair. The gel will also help keep the hair in place making it easier to trim and shape.
Step 2: Remove Unwanted Hair

When removing unwanted hair, using a pair of slanted tweezers is preferred. This is how to shape eyebrows with tweezers.
Use one hand to stretch out the skin and use your other hand to hold onto the tweezers. This method will make the tweezing less painful.
Next, pull out the hair in the direction of hair growth. Keep this in mind as this tweezing method will prevent hair ingrown.
Use a brow brush to brush the hair away. Once done, you will see if there are still unwanted hair that needs removing.
Step 3: Trim the Brows

Using a lash comb and curved scissors, start trimming your eyebrow. Curved scissors are recommended as it will help maintain your arch when trimming.
Use the brow brush to brush away the hair again. It’ll make your brow look organized and not at all messy.

Step 4: Use a Facial Razor for Shaving

Again, stretch out the skin, vertically this time, and use a facial razor to remove little, unwanted hair on top of your brows. Be careful not to over shave as this can ruin the shape of your brows.
Now go under the brows and start shaving from the outer to the inner corner of the brows. This will remove any leftover hair that was hard to remove with the tweezer.
Step 5: Fill in the Brows

Wow! You’re almost done shaping and grooming your eyebrows, I just have to run you through the final steps.
One of which is how to fill in eyebrows. If you’re using an eyebrow pencil, I suggest you use one with a flat tip.
And when applying, use feathery strokes and focus on the sparse areas.
Step 6: Highlight for Definition

To define the brows further, you will need to highlight the brow bone. You can use a brow highlighter pencil for this.
But usually, I just use my concealer. I also apply highlighter on top of my brows and arch to define my brows more.
Now, you have perfectly shaped and groomed eyebrows!
